Tubular Heater Applications
Tubular heater applications span air heating, liquid immersion, mold conduction, and industrial process heating. EaseWise tubular heaters are designed for reliable heat transfer, flexible installation, and long service life across different industrial heating environments.
For versatile liquid and solid heating, Standard Tubular Heaters provide flexible shapes, wattages, voltages, and sheath materials. For rapid air and gas heating, Finned Tubular Heaters provide increased surface area for more efficient heat transfer. Both configurations can be customized to match your equipment and application requirements.
Tubular Heater Applications-Standard Type
Standard Tubular Heater Applications
The Standard Tubular Heater is a versatile industrial heating element suitable for direct immersion in water, oil, and chemical solutions, as well as conduction heating in molds, dies, and platens. Available in straight, U-shape, W-shape, and custom-bent geometries, it can adapt to different tank, duct, and machine layouts.
Sheath materials can be selected according to the heating environment, from SS304 for general applications to Incoloy 800/840 for higher-temperature or more demanding conditions.
Key Advantages
- High watt density up to 25 W/cm² for rapid heat-up
- Custom bending to match equipment geometry
- Multiple sheath materials for different corrosion and temperature requirements
- Tube diameter from 5mm to 20mm, with lengths up to 6000mm
- Operating temperature up to 800°C, depending on sheath material and application conditions
Tubular Heater Applications-Finned Type
Finned Tubular Heaters add stainless steel fins mechanically bonded along the tubular sheath, increasing the effective surface area by approximately 3 to 5 times. This improves heat transfer into air and gas streams, making finned tubular heaters well suited for forced-air heating, drying ovens, HVAC ducts, industrial air curtains, and other air heating applications.
Key Advantages
- 3–5× greater surface area for improved air heat transfer
- Lower sheath temperature at equivalent wattage
- Faster warm-up and efficient air heating
- Available in M-shape, U-shape, and straight configurations
- Suitable for ovens, dryers, duct heaters, and air handling systems

Frequently Asked Questions
Standard tubular heaters are designed for liquid immersion and solid conduction heating. Finned tubular heaters add stainless steel fins to increase surface area by 3–5×, making them ideal for air and gas heating applications like ovens, dryers, and HVAC ducts.
Choose finned when heating air or gas. The fins dramatically improve heat transfer efficiency, allowing lower sheath temperatures and faster warm-up. For liquids, oils, or mold heating, standard tubular is the better choice.
SS304 for clean water and general air heating. SS316L for corrosive chemicals and food-grade environments. Incoloy 800/840 for high-temperature applications up to 800°C and oxidizing atmospheres.
Yes. We bend standard tubular heaters to your exact specifications — U-shape, W-shape, spiral, or any custom geometry. Finned tubular heaters are available in M-shape, U-shape, and straight configurations.
Provide the type (standard or finned), diameter, length, shape, wattage, voltage, sheath material, and operating medium. A drawing is helpful but not required. We respond within 12 hours.
