Explosion-Proof Assembly Thermocouple is designed for fixed temperature measurement in hazardous industrial environments. It combines a mineral-insulated sheathed probe with a flame-proof junction box for installation on pipelines, vessels, furnaces, and industrial equipment. Actual operating temperature depends on thermocouple type, sheath material, probe diameter, installation, and service conditions. The junction box working temperature is ≤200°C. An extended probe can be used to keep the junction box away from high-temperature sources.

Installation Notes

  1. Select the appropriate threaded or flange connection for the equipment.
  2. Install the probe to the required measurement depth.
  3. The probe insertion depth is fixed after assembly.
  4. Route the cable through the cable gland and maintain proper junction box sealing.
  5. Keep the junction box away from direct heat sources when required.
  6. For hazardous-area installations, verify that the complete assembly and installation meet the applicable site requirements.
