A Threaded Compression Fitting Thermocouple is a sheathed temperature sensor with an adjustable compression fitting for secure installation and flexible probe insertion depth. It is designed for pipelines, boilers, furnaces, vessels, ovens, and other equipment requiring stable insertion or immersion temperature measurement.

The compression fitting locks the armored probe in position after adjustment, providing reliable mounting and sealing. K, J, T, E, and N types are available with Φ3–8 mm probes, SS304, SS316, or Inconel 600 sheaths, and metric or pipe thread options.

This design is part of our Sheathed Thermocouple series and is particularly suitable when the probe insertion depth needs to be adjusted during installation.

Installation

  1. Screw the threaded fitting into the equipment mounting hole.
  2. Loosen the compression nut and adjust the probe to the required insertion depth.
  3. Tighten the compression nut to clamp and secure the probe.
  4. Position the probe at the required measurement point inside the process area or measured medium.

The compression fitting provides adjustable positioning and secure fixation. The standard compression fitting has a maximum temperature limit of 450°C. High-temperature alloy fittings are available for applications above 450°C.
