Cartridge Heater with Built-in Thermocouple
Cartridge Heater with Built-in Thermocouple combines heating and temperature sensing in one compact heating element.
The built-in K-type thermocouple provides real-time temperature feedback without requiring a separate sensor installation, making it suitable for precision molds, laboratory heating blocks, automation equipment and other applications requiring accurate temperature control.
The standard version uses a SUS321 stainless steel sheath, built-in K-type thermocouple and 220V power supply.
J-type thermocouple, special dimensions, higher watt density and other configurations are available for custom applications.
Built-in Thermocouple Design
- Built-in Sensor: K-type thermocouple for standard stock models
- Optional Sensor: J-type thermocouple available for custom orders
- Integrated Structure: Heating element and temperature sensor are combined inside one cartridge heater
- Temperature Feedback: Enables real-time temperature monitoring close to the heating area
- Temperature Accuracy: Approximately ±1–2°C depending on installation and control conditions
- Installation: Recommended H7 close-fit bore for stable heat transfer and temperature sensing

Installation & Wiring Notes
- The heating wires and thermocouple wires are separate electrical circuits and must be connected correctly.
- Incorrect wiring may result in no heating, incorrect temperature readings or control-system errors.
- An H7 close-fit bore is recommended for stable heat transfer and accurate temperature sensing.
- The heated section should have good contact with the bore wall to minimize thermal resistance.
- For liquid or process heating, ensure the heated section is properly installed according to the application requirements.
FAQ
