High-Density Cartridge Heater
High-Density Cartridge Heater products from EaseWise are designed for rapid heating, high heat transfer, and demanding industrial applications where higher power output is required in a compact heating element. Compared with standard cartridge heaters, their higher watt density provides faster heat-up and concentrated heating for close-fit installations.
We supply standard stock sizes as well as custom high-watt-density cartridge heaters based on your required diameter, heated length, voltage, power, watt density, lead configuration, and sheath material.
For general-purpose heating, see our Standard Cartridge Heater. For compact installation spaces, see our Miniature / Micro Cartridge Heater.

Heating Performance
High-density cartridge heaters provide approximately 18–35 W/cm², allowing faster heat-up and concentrated heating where installation space is limited and higher heat output is required.
The required watt density depends on heater diameter, heated length, bore fit, material being heated, heat dissipation, and operating conditions. A higher watt density is not always better; the heater should be matched to the application.
