High-Density Cartridge Heater
High-Density Cartridge Heater is designed for rapid heating, high heat transfer, and demanding industrial applications where high power output is required in a compact heating element. Its higher watt density provides faster heat-up and concentrated heating in close-fit installations.
Our high-watt-density cartridge heaters are available in standard stock sizes and can also be custom-made according to your required diameter, heated length, voltage, power, and watt density.
The material of a cartridge heater also affects heat transfer, operating temperature, and service life. Learn more about

Heating Performance
Our high-watt-density cartridge heating elements provide approximately 18–35 W/cm², allowing faster heat-up and concentrated heating compared with general-purpose cartridge heaters.
The appropriate watt density depends on heater diameter, heated length, bore fit, material being heated, heat dissipation, and operating conditions. Higher watt density is not always better; the heater should be matched to the application.
- Rapid temperature rise
